OUR DIRECTOR

Georgios is a Cambridge University graduate, Lecturer in Mathematics at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo and Organizing Secretary of the Cyprus Mathematical Society.

He is deeply passionate about mathematical excellence – not only as an academic pursuit, but as a way of thinking that develops creativity, analytical reasoning, and the ability to solve complex problems.

With a strong commitment to giving back to his hometown after returning from Cambridge, he has made it his personal mission to offer talented young students in Cyprus the same kind of opportunities and inspiration that shaped his own journey. Through the Academy of Mathematical Excellence, he envisions a vibrant space where young minds are nurtured to grow, think critically, and become the problem-solvers of the future.
